Jeño is conceived as the natural evolution of Jelly, reinterpreting its essence; while the original model draws inspiration from the art of glassmaking, Jeño shifts the focus to the purity of the material, enhancing the warmth and authenticity of wood. Entirely crafted in oak, from the central column to the top, Jeño stands out for its solid yet balanced presence, where harmonious proportions interact with the natural grain of the wood. The metal base introduces a refined material contrast, visually lightening the structure and giving the coffee table a strong, contemporary character. Carlo Ballabio
Il est responsable du développement des produits et designer chez Porada depuis 2011. Né à Cantù en 1967, il est diplômé de l’IPSIA G. Meroni à Lissone en tant que technicien dans l’industrie du meuble et de l’ameublement. En 1990, il obtient une maîtrise en “design industriel” à l’Institut européen de design de Milan. Il a ensuite entrepris plusieurs collaborations dans des studios de design, d’abord avec Paolo Nava, puis avec Paola Navone en tant que designer principal. Certaines de ses œuvres ont été exposées à la Triennale de Milan. Pour Porada, il a conçu de nombreux produits phares, dont la série Ziggy, qui connaît un grand succès. Ce qui rend son design unique, c’est sa recherche permanente de la combinaison parfaite entre esthétique et fonctionnalité.
