Jeño is conceived as the natural evolution of Jelly, reinterpreting its essence; while the original model draws inspiration from the art of glassmaking, Jeño shifts the focus to the purity of the material, enhancing the warmth and authenticity of wood. Entirely crafted in oak, from the central column to the top, Jeño stands out for its solid yet balanced presence, where harmonious proportions interact with the natural grain of the wood. The metal base introduces a refined material contrast, visually lightening the structure and giving the coffee table a strong, contemporary character. Designed to fit naturally into a variety of settings, Jeño discreetly complements living spaces: a versatile piece that, through the simplicity of its forms and the quality of its materials, expresses a timeless elegance.

Carlo Ballabio
Es director de desarrollo de productos y diseñador en Porada desde 2011. Nacido en Cantù en 1967, se graduó en el IPSIA G. Meroni de Lissone como técnico en la industria del mueble y la decoración. En 1990 obtuvo un máster en “Diseño Industrial” en el Instituto Europeo de Diseño de Milán. A continuación, emprendió varias colaboraciones en estudios de diseño, primero con Paolo Nava y después con Paola Navone como diseñador principal.
Algunas de sus obras se han expuesto en la Trienal de Milán. Para Porada, ha diseñado numerosos productos punteros, como la serie Ziggy, de gran éxito. Lo que hace que su diseño sea único es su continua búsqueda de la combinación perfecta de estética y funcionalidad.
