Chair featuring rear legs that come together nearly becoming one single ‘T’-shaped element and which reinterprets a historic design in a contemporary key. The starting point of this design is the skilful craftmanship of the solid wood typical of Porada: the development of the design stems from the elliptical section of the solid wood that twists creating the back and the armrests. Teti’s comfort is ensured by a soap-shaped seat cushion, slightly sloping, and a soft back cushion that provides gentle back support. A saddle leather cord in Testa di Moro finish secures and holds in place the back cushion with removable cover.
Gabriele Buratti, architect and professor of interior architecture at the Design department of Politecnico di Milano and Oscar Buratti, architect, together founded the BURATTI ARCHITETTI studio. The Studio has a multidisciplinary practice, which covers buildings and urban areas, architecture to interiors, furniture and object design, as well as design of exhibitions and showrooms. An intense and varied professional path in which themes, places and typologies, brands and people, materials and craftsmanship, mingle together. Buratti brothers share with Porada the intention of combining culture and professional specialization, experimentation and technique, original visions, and product quality.
“We don’t believe in striking gestures, but in the ability to transfer into the object a broader view of the space, good technique and care of detail.”
