The Tuscan designer Andrea Borgogni received his education in Milan where he currently lives and works. In his design he combines the passion for technology with craftsmanship, a characteristic that made him immediately interesting for Porada, whose values are very close to. Since 2011 he has been working independently and has developed a great skill and passion in designing chairs.
Some of his chairs won international awards such as the Red Dot Design Award Best of the Best, the Salone Satelite Award, the German IIA Award and he participates in international exhibitions as a young emerging talent. He is mainly inspired by the world of automotive and aeronautics, for the high innovative and technological content, trying to mix it with the world of art of decoration, but above all the craftsmanship.
