The dining table has always been the heart of domestic life—a space dedicated to gathering and sharing. Within the Saddle collection, this function is expressed through a strong formal language that transforms the table into a sculptural centerpiece. Saddle 2 highlights the use of solid wood as a distinctive element of Porada’s craftsmanship. The base silhouette interprets organic forms in a continuous dialogue between solids and voids, achieving a balance between form and visual lightness. The table features a double base in solid Canaletta walnut, each originating from a central circular foot that branches upward in two directions, creating a balanced structure supporting a rectangular top available in glass, marble, wood, or Rock. The design also responds to customization needs: careful technical choices developed during design and prototyping allow for large-scale bespoke dimensions, expanding its application from residential settings to more complex contract environments.
