MATICS BAR

The Matics collection introduces the Matics Bar, a contemporary and elegant piece equipped with two Stopsol glass doors and pewter grey metal base, a distinctive detail among all products in the collection. The interior is designed to meet various needs both for living and dining areas: the upper compartments are equipped with back panel in embossed Bronzoro metal and mirrored sides to enhance the perceived spaciousness of the product. The bottom and front of the four drawers are covered in leather with the addition of a small leather puller with scoubidou effect; the upper drawers are equipped with cutlery dividers and pull-out tray. The lower compartments are entirely made of wood. The integrated LED lighting, dimmable via remote control or app, enhances the versatility of the product, allowing for a customisation of the spaces for which it is destined.

Gabriele & Oscar Buratti

Gabriele Buratti, architect and professor of interior architecture at the Design department of Politecnico di Milano and Oscar Buratti, architect, together founded the BURATTI ARCHITETTI studio. The Studio has a multidisciplinary practice, which covers buildings and urban areas, architecture to interiors, furniture and object design, as well as design of exhibitions and showrooms. An intense and varied professional path in which themes, places and typologies, brands and people, materials and craftsmanship, mingle together. Buratti brothers share with Porada the intention of combining culture and professional specialization, experimentation and technique, original visions, and product quality.
“We don’t believe in striking gestures, but in the ability to transfer into the object a broader view of the space, good technique and care of detail.”
