Magnificent, charming and breath-taking, My Suite walk-in closet boldly dominates the entire scene of a modern bedroom. Natural wood, used in its truest and most precious meaning, is the protagonist of the My Suite walk-in closet, designed to structure the storage space for clothes and accessories. The various components are also made of natural materials, processed with a high-specialised technique typical of Porada productions. The inserts in brushed bronzed brass and the handles in woven leather, are the distinctive elements of the entire composition.
There is an extreme care for the design of accessories such as shelves, drawer units, trouser racks and clothes hangers, realised by mixing the sturdiness of solid wood with leather, smoked glass and metal. The led lighting completes this domestic scenography giving an elegant and functional touch.
The modularity of the My Suite walk-in closet is further enhanced by the addition of a writing desk module, introducing a new level of functionality that turns the space into an elegant office corner. Made of canaletta walnut with solid wood profiles, the My Suite desk module features a top with the usual shaped solid wood edge and an integrated shelf. Its functionality is supported by a concealed power outlet that includes a Schuko socket and two USB ports—maintaining the clean, uninterrupted aesthetic lines. To meet the diverse design needs and increase storage capacity, optional drawers with fronts in wood or Cuoietto leather can be added. For a refined finishing touch, a round backlit mirror can be fitted in the back central part of the writing desk.
The My Closet wardrobe and My Suite walk-in closet expand their modular possibilities with the introduction of the My Closet/My Suite Island—a new double-sided, freestanding chest of eight drawers designed to stand independently in the middle of the room. Made of canaletta walnut, the island features a smoked glass top and solid wood handle profiles, showcasing Porada’s know-how in craftsmanship. The eight drawers, also in canaletta walnut for a seamless aesthetic, can be fitted with removable divider trays to facilitate internal organisation and partitioning.
Gabriele Buratti, architect and professor of interior architecture at the Design department of Politecnico di Milano and Oscar Buratti, architect, together founded the BURATTI ARCHITETTI studio. The Studio has a multidisciplinary practice, which covers buildings and urban areas, architecture to interiors, furniture and object design, as well as design of exhibitions and showrooms. An intense and varied professional path in which themes, places and typologies, brands and people, materials and craftsmanship, mingle together. Buratti brothers share with Porada the intention of combining culture and professional specialization, experimentation and technique, original visions, and product quality.
“We don’t believe in striking gestures, but in the ability to transfer into the object a broader view of the space, good technique and care of detail.”
