Als Autodidakt mit Erfahrung in Planung, Materialkenntnis und Technologien begann er 1975 seine freiberufliche Karriere und arbeitete als Designer mit vielen bekannten Möbelunternehmen zusammen, darunter Porada. Viele seiner Arbeiten und Projekte wurden in den renommiertesten internationalen Zeitschriften des Sektors veröffentlicht. Für Porada entwarf er viele erfolgreiche Produkte: das Bücherregal Domino, der Sessel Lola und das Totem Mediacentre.
