Porada renovates its showroom on Boulevard Saint-Germain in Paris, presenting itself to the French market with a renewed aesthetic language and a completely revised spatial narrative.

Three years after its inauguration, the Cabiate-based brand returns to invest in the French capital and renovates its Parisian home with a project that conveys a vision of contemporary elegance and a constant search for timeless beauty, craftsmanship and functionality.

A new look for the showroom in Paris

With its recently completed restyling, the showroom has been revamped and now adopts the brand identity that distinguishes the flagship stores in New York and London. A new layout, with attention to the smallest details, introduces warmer and more enveloping atmospheres that convey a feeling of comfort and intimacy, translating Porada’s concept of home into a sensory experience.

The walls take on new, deeper and more textured colours, designed to enhance the texture of the wood and coverings and to warm up the geometry of the marble. Not only texture and colour, but also wallpaper and boiserie give a new rhythm to the vertical surfaces of the showroom and help to create a more dynamic and contemporary environment. In keeping with last year’s Salone del Mobile stand and the other flagship stores, a coordinated curtain system has been introduced, creating an immediate feeling of a welcoming home with refined details, consistent with the brand’s new language.

This intervention involves the entire exhibition space, where each element interacts harmoniously with the others. The individual rooms take on specific roles, sometimes in continuity with previous installations, while in other cases they are completely renewed.

This is the case, for example, of the iconic French room, recognisable by the mouldings on the walls, which retains its architectural charm but has changed its intended use, becoming today an elegant and contemporary office. Similarly, the annex has been completely reinterpreted, taking on a central role in the new exhibition space; it has become a master bedroom – a veritable master suite – in which the selection of products on display, and in particular the wardrobes, highlight Porada’s craftsmanship in woodworking and attention to detail.

The new Paris showroom thus evolves into an even more incisive manifesto of the values that distinguish Porada today: a place where design is experience, material and narrative, and where each environment is designed to welcome and inspire, offering visitors – architects, interior designers and private design enthusiasts – an immersive journey into the Porada universe.

A new showroom narrative

As soon as they cross the threshold of the showroom, visitors are welcomed into a lounge area designed to immediately convey the warm and sophisticated atmosphere that characterizes the Porada Home. The stars of the space are a two-seater Klem sofa and the Callisto Brillo coffee table, in one of three new lacquered finishes, the greige.

Continuing to the right, there is a first dining area where an Augusto table with a hexagonal base harmoniously interacts with four Petra chairs with armrests. The space is completed by a cozy and contemporary living area: a Ronny sofa with chaise longue, placed on a soft Goban rug, is accompanied by two Bold side tables, creating a balance between soft volumes and essential lines.

On the opposite side of the entrance, a pair of Koji sofas placed facing each other define a second conversation area. Between the two sofas is a Ziggy coffee table, flanked by a Côte side table in Canaletta walnut, emphasising the continuous dialogue between natural materials and craftsmanship.

The French room, recognisable by the elegant mouldings decorating its walls, now houses a new office area: in the centre, a Midì desk serves as the operational hub, flanked by a Cuna High Back and two Cuna Low Back, which give the room a sophisticated and functional tone, consistent with the new identity of the space.

The ground floor tour culminates in the annex, now transformed into a master bedroom that represents the beating heart of the showroom. Three macro-elements are the protagonists of this environment: the My Closet wardrobe, complete with an integrated desk area and designed as a backdrop for the Ziggy Bed Soft; to complete the layout, a Calin XL armchair creates a small relaxation area, a private retreat within the suite.

Compared to previous installations, the lower floor has been completely repurposed; visitors are welcomed into a dining room dominated by an Alan table with a Levanto red marble top, surrounded by four Dione chairs and complemented by a Pebble sideboard. Next to the staircase is a small, intimate lounge area, furnished with an Etienne two-seater sofa and a pair of Callisto coffee tables, ideal for a relaxing break between rooms.

The largest room on the lower level is dedicated to a reception lounge, where a pair of Kirk sofas – reintroduced to the general public at the 2025 Salone del Mobile – are arranged in a conversational layout. Completing the scene are two Enook Brillo coffee tables, one of which is entirely lacquered in the new rouge brun finish, together with Nodo coat racks and a Rami console table, creating a coherent whole that reflects the balance between design and craftsmanship that distinguishes Porada.
