To make a masterpiece, it takes a tree: 70 years of Porada

A brand, Porada, that in seventy years has been able to renew itself, grow, capture trends while maintaining the enthusiasm and passion for a design characterized by a polite and timeless elegance. Since ever, since the foundation year - 1948 - solid wood has been the core of the Porada collections that, over time, has been intertwined with other noble materials such as marble, metal and crystal. The result? Iconic products, the outcome of the collaboration first with local designers, then with International designers who have contributed to enrich the history of Italian design in the world. Some examples? The Garbo chair with its characteristic classic armrest, or the sinuous and feminine Anxie with the unmistakable contoured and tapered legs. Even Ubiqua - bookcase system and TV stand with metal uprights - is a cornerstone of Porada and is linked to the vintage style, but still current from the Fifties. And what about the Infinity table, a sort of archetype with its crystal top and the sculptural wooden base?Porada's research to project itself into the future is incessant, thus guaranteeing end users furniture that fits perfectly in contemporary contexts, both residential and contract. At the next Salone of Milan, the Brianza-based company will present an enriched and renewed collection, alongside three historical pieces from the past reinterpreted and revisited to celebrate the 70th anniversary. The celebration of this important anniversary also includes a gift. Porada has in fact developed a fragrance for the ambience in a packaging with lines and colors that fully reflect the company's philosophy. It is a fragrance designed specifically to make the Porada style differently perceived, that is discreet, but always current and enveloping. The perfume is a new challenge for the company, that has been able to count on the professionalism of the artistic perfumery experts Paolo Fadelli and Arturetto Landi.
