Eighteen is the result of Porada creativity, all “made in Brianza”.
The latest catalogue shows the pieces of the new collection presented at the Salone del Mobile fair in Milan. An accurate study of different shapes and materials is the essential work that gave birth to the new collection. With the rich and versatile products, the new ashwood finishes Canapa and Caffè make their debut.Various and wonderful pieces have been featured in this new catalogue: Argo sofa by David Dolcini; Koster, the collection of side and coffee tables designed by the Swedish designer Staffan Tollgard, a new entry in the Porada team; Quadrifoglio, the new dining table by Carlo Ballabio and Killian bed, designed by Marconato&Zappa.A wide range of new products like mirrors, stools, armchairs, side and coffee tables enriches the Porada collection and together with the existing products confirms the idea of a “Porada home”.
In 2018, we celebrate this concept, grown and evolved over seventy years of activity, with the remake of three of our most historic pieces born about forty years ago.With no change to the original design, we have studied innovative solutions in terms of finishes and details that would give the items a modern twist. The Tondo table takes its name from the rounded frame, it has a base made of four C shapesset together.
The round glass top comes in varied sizes and lies on the base and by using two bases we can obtain oval or rectangular shapes.The shiny lacquered finish gives a glossy and plastic finish to the base. The ash stained finishes highlight the wood work and brushed brass details decorate and refine the product.The triangular Tony and the round Trittico side tables were born to be stacked and were very versatile.
The introduction of coloured glass tops and the new finishes for the ash wood makes these products extremely contemporary.
Each product of this 70th anniversary collection has a brass plate to remember and celebrate this important moment for our Company.Eighteen represents the result of seventy years of work based on passion and enthusiasm where each product becomes timeless.
