The new year is starting with the first international interiors shows in Cologne and Paris, where the pieces of the new Eighteen collection will find place.
Many news in terms of products and materials: a revival of the ash-wood with Canapa and Caffe’ finishes and Rock, a ceramic material used mainly on table tops like our iconic Infinity or the new Quadrifoglio.
The new collection presented will be versatile and impeccable, with sophisticated details and material combination. In the living area there will be a new majestic sofa: Argo, from the designer David Dolcini. This is a modular system based on the use of six different frames combined with soft seating in two sizes, 85 and 110 cm. The back, armrest frames and accessories are in solid wood while the shelves are in marble. The wooden frame contrasts the soft volumes of the seat, back and armrest cushions. Elegance is the main theme of the night area with Ziggy bed, implemented with new finishes and Killian bed, designed from Marconato & Zappa, with a solid Canaletta Walnut frame and brass inserts.
The Arcipelago collection of coffee and side tables, designed by the English designer Staffan Tollgard, will create cosy corners. To complete the exposition, three Porada’s historical products that have been recreated in 2018 to celebrate its 70th anniversary: Tondo, Tony and Trittico.
The idea behind the new collection, like for every collection, is to create a timeless design made of aesthetic beauty with modern approach and visual balance between shape and comfort, to generate the intimacy that every home needs. We’ve been doing it since 1948.
